Men of Color Who Rescue Male Coalition to Host 2026 NFL Draft “Auntie’s Down Home” Brunch Honoring Pittsburgh Legends

PITTSBURGH, PA — April 26, 2026 — The Men of Color Who Rescue Male Coalition (MOCWR), in conjunction with Benefiting African American Males and Managing Mothers (BAAMM LLC), will host the 2026 NFL Draft Pittsburgh: Aunties Down Home Brunch Experience on Sunday, April 26, 2026, from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM at the Southside Works CoHatch Event Space, 2681 Sidney Street, Pittsburgh, PA 15203.


Prime seating time for main event is between 12:00 -12:30 pm, when there wil be a Steelers Super Bowl Champion Award Ceremony, honoring four Pittsburgh-rooted leaders:

  • Dr. Kathi R. Elliott: Champion for Girls and Equity Leader

  • Mike Logan: Former Pittsburgh Steeler and Super Bowl champion dedicated to youth mentorship

  • Bill Keenist: NFL 2025 Hall of Fame inductee for his impact on sports communications

  • Sam Clancy: University of Pittsburgh basketball standout and former Cleveland Browns player and NFL coach who continues to inspire generations

Tickets are $30 per person / $50 per couple; and $15 for youth under 18 years old. Includes free parking in the Ladle and Open Hearth garages (2640 and 2601 Sidney St., Pittsburgh 15203).

MOCWR will recognize the community contributions of these local leaders who represent the heart, resilience, and excellence of Pittsburgh:


Dr. Kathi Elliott, CEO of the Gwen’s Girls, Inc., is a nationally respected advocate dedicated to advancing opportunities, visibility, and systemic change for girls and young women through holistic, gender-specific programs, education, and experiences. Dr. Elliott has built platforms that amplify Pittsburgh voices that are often overlooked, driving equity across education, leadership, and community systems.


Mike Logan is a proud Pittsburgh native and former West Virginia University standout and Super Bowl champion with the Pittsburgh Steelers. Known for his leadership on and off the field, Logan continues to give back to the community through mentorship and youth engagement, embodying the spirit of Pittsburgh toughness and pride.


Bill Keenist is the former VP of Communications at the Detroit Lions, a legendary figure in NFL communications, and a 2025 inductee of the NFL Hall of Fame. With deep Pittsburgh ties, Keenist has shaped the narrative of professional football for decades, elevating the league’s storytelling while maintaining strong connections to community and team culture.


Sam “Bam” Clancy is a Pittsburgh icon whose athletic career spans both the NCAA and NFL. A former University of Pittsburgh basketball standout and professional football player, Clancy’s journey reflects versatility, discipline, and excellence. His legacy continues to inspire generations of Pittsburgh youth.

All proceeds from the event will directly support programs serving Pittsburgh youth and families through mentorship, leadership development, and community-based initiatives led by the Men of Color Who Rescue Male Coalition.
